Happy New Year, Again

Unlike the Gregorian calendar, the Chinese new year starts with the new lunar cycle at the end of winter. So February 10th it is. The year of the dragon.

I’ve never thought about it before, but I kind of like it. Say I started off terrible or missed some things with my regular year, I can still have a second shot for the whole thing! Why not?! Sweet dragon baby Jesus, bring me good luck and fortune. 🙏🏼🐲👼🏼

Started off the year with some skateboarding. What a pleasure.

And if you’re wondering, homeless and strange people with weird stains all over come with the territory. It’s the streets. It’s a book of stories.

I came to Bangkok for this ledge. Skateboard tourism at its finest. It’s a literal dream.

Asia loves plastic

(Thinking of you)

What a magical place to skate everyday.

And to the madness.

Favorite photo I took

I didn’t find dumplings, they found me.

There are the local oranges. Slightly green, more herbal and juicy.

If you’ve never had the OJ in SEA, it just hits different. There’s so much more tang and the fullness to the taste. The flavor seems to wash over your whole tongue sending your sensors haywire . Regular will never suffice again.

That color!

Feeling lucky?

Okay, that’s it. I’m over it. So many people. Get me out of here!

30 min later, this is how I felt trying to leave. Smooshed and dumped whenever by whoever.

Bangkok is a theme park, festival, zoo, circus all rolled into one. Quite insane to be a part of, but still fun to witness. You have to see it to believe it
