Thakhek Looping: D1
Usually, I only use my Sony A7R3 for my making posts, but I’ve had a change of heart. I realize what I need is consistency and relevancy more than long thought-out posts. My pen and vision is more important than what instrument I used. Instead, I plan on using whatever ammo I have available and since we are all blessed with iPhones, voila. Let’s start the show!
First day was meeting everyone and seeing how we all functioned. Some fun problems started from the beginning. Everyone was dysfunctionally late and okay with it making for a smooth crew of Europeans and me the American.
We visited two caves Xieng Liap cave above and Tham Nang Ene Cave below. Both were really cool but uniquely different. After seeing Tham Nang though, I realized that the caves in SEA were beyond my imagination.
Had such an amazing time exploring and riding. Never realized how much fun the open road is when it’s only on two wheels! Having a healthy amount of traveling friends really sets the mood too. Day 1 had it all. We had falls, we had love, storms, dirt, luck, sweat, we had adventures and some unknowns, but we had laughs, and most of all, we had Laos.
