Scenes from Kyoto

Yay, Squarespace has finally fixed the app so I can post again! Happy to finally share the 1000 images I’ve taken in 2 days in Kyoto. Always looking for the perfect photo here. I’ve already taken a few, so now I’m just looking for specifics. My main camera catches the best one. These are still simple and entertaining though to get a feel.

This town is special. Despite the tourism, which is surprisingly tolerable because of the season, Kyoto is still worthwhile. The main temples lose a little value when there are so many people, but if you search the outlier temples, there is tons to be found. Me and Ianis found one that should have been insanely popular, yet we were the only ones there. I feel that’s how travel should feel sometimes.

Everyone just needs time to reflect with the heritage. It isn’t enough to just see, you need the quiet to experience the thoughts and feelings associated with these kinds of places. That’s what makes something special, your own experience with something so unique and historic.
