Pretty in Pink: Alishan, Taiwan

I just want cherry blossoms. I want them everywhere in all my photography so I can feel blissful on a bad day. I find them as pretty as everyone else, and was so psyched to find them here in Taiwan. Which, at this point, I feel everything happens for a reason.

It’s happens to be the anniversary of one of my best friends passing. His step-mom posted a picture of him on her IG. He’s wearing pink in it. πŸŒΈπŸ’žπŸ’— What a beautiful sign. I feel like he’s watching all the time. I get chills thinking about it. And some tears. Always feel so lucky to have met him. He honestly saved my life. I owe him everything.

So, today felt like he planned everything already. There was Warm sunshine, open road along some beautiful winding path, and a national park snuggled in the mountains. Parfait πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ. Oh, and just enough pink to make me feel I caught Sakura after all.

Oh oh, and he helped me get a scooter even if I didn’t have all the credentials πŸ€“. Big love E πŸ’–

What do you think? Is pink my color?

Wait, how did I get here?

That’s right, the Train…selfie πŸ˜‰

Welcome to Chiayi! Home of Alishan!

Good vibes so far.

Pink!

🌸😍🌸😍

It’s April buddy…

My homestay is also a flowershop. I kid you not.

The thing is, I’ve been trying to follow my instincts these last 6 months. Lots of those are feelings. When I see a sign, I feel my subconscious and conscious working in unison for the things I need and want. So, lately, life seems crazily like this πŸͺ§πŸͺ§πŸͺ§. How do you see it?

Got a bike! I’ve got wheels again! Everything feels right in the world!

My friend Ianis said this helmet would protect me because duh, Onepiece.

Haha. What?!!

Check the beard πŸ¦‹

I’ve mentioned I’m really into butterflys lately, not sure if moths count, but it was right after I lit some incense.

Good enough.

This guy was hitting himself with an axe πŸͺ“ right before this photo.

πŸ˜΄πŸ˜΄πŸ’€πŸ’€ are they really that tired to sleep like that?

Okay I get it, it’s a rice ball stuffed in rice paper and they cut it open to make a bun! Genius πŸ€“

Yes, please. πŸ’†πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ’†πŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ’†πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ

What’s funny? The best Sakura in the whole park was outside 7/11. Not kidding. These photos were right out front 😁

Keep trending.

Same day, different mountain.

Loveliest of days. Thanks again E.

Remember that IG post I was talking about?

Live free, fly high πŸ¦…
