You Can’t Always Get What You Want: Tennessee
It’s been over a month since my birthday. It’s been over 5 months since I’ve been back. It’s been over a year since I lived in Hawaii. It’s been over 6 since I started this journey. I guess you could say, it doesn’t go the way you ever imagined it would.
Learning what that means takes time. Finding balance in the force takes loads of time. In the high-paced instant access world, it feels like you’re things are always gonna happen so quickly, but not many people write about the in-between hours. They just show you the highlights. Which, in reality, isn’t even the thing you remember most about your journeys half the time, it’s the nagging moments, the rough, the ugly, and the astonishing humbling that seem to linger with a small grin. I’ve had a lot more shit eating lately, so I remember those a lot.
Here’s a little catch-up on whatever life currently is here in the great state of Tennessee where I was born and raised.
This is what I look like now. No shame.
Started off this year with a lot of old friends. Then subsequently lost my job right when I got Mono all in the same week. So fun!
Irrésistible, almost
Like a story of my current life episode.
How I want to feel
Equally want
Lots of this
Sometimes this..
And this!

Rainy days 😍
Fall afternoons 🥰
New job is searching for gold. This Pokémon card is just that. I preceded to put it in a plastic case and somehow spilled water all over it. It about sums up my experience back in Tennessee.
I got cut rummaging CLOTHES
Slowly but surely, new dreams are forming.
Speaking of which.
And it’s thanksgiving. Just like that, a month has gone by. I hope my humanness shows up again soon! I’ve got so many more stories to tell.
