Misty Mountains to Motorcycle Mecca: Mai Chau to Hanoi, Vietnam
This is the face of a guy who just crossed 2000km on his first ever solo bike journey! I started in Hoi An and just ended in Hanoi! What a freaking ride. Anyway, I’ll recap the whole thing later. Today, just the final ride from Mai Chau to Hanoi.
The day started off foggy and wet. There was thunderstorms to end the day yesterday so no rush getting out. I was there just to enjoy the morning fog and have too many cups of coffee.
Wait, did I add that I woke up at 6am? 5:55 to be exact? Why you ask? Oh, because for some reason, there’s in these small farmer communities in these communist countries, they have a morning rally show of who knows what. Fun way to start the day. I decided yoga would settle the mind and start the day.
Yay

Starting line.
These light shows were epic!
All the essentials.
Last one, I swear.
What is SUA and why is it so BIG?
Motorcycle Mecca 🏍️ 🕋
Honestly, driving around was hectic, but it was really fun. You’re in the game of your life where every little movement of every person matters. You trust your instincts and just go. You see the rhythm and the flow, you see what’s happening before it happens, what a whirlwind of adventure all happening while the sounds of 1,000,000 horns honk. Total anarchy, but pure ADDICTION.
I’ve gotta get one of my own.
Um, what.
WHAT! 😍😍😍
Okay, camer overload. I’m gonna spam a whole thing later. Thanks for playing today’s version.
