Hanoi: the Urban Jungle

This city pops. There’s character. There’s energy. There’s constant noises and flashes. A million people going a million directions all at once. Everyone is piled on top of each other and given a motor to zip around the city. Food bubbles out of each corner. Unknown combinations of meat and noodles are everywhere. Vendors pedal their actual merchandise. Some have it crammed in a corner store. You can buy pets, air cons, piping, fix your bike, leather goods, vegetables, or knock-off brands while eating delicious cheap food all on the same street. It is truly a thrilling site.

With that said, I’m not sure one image can captivate the entire thing. So many different angles portray so many different lights. So many characters are playing this game. Who are they? What are they doing? Where are they going? Watching is half the fun.

I don’t even think I need an itenerary. Just wandering as always is good enough for me. Let’s see what’s out there.

Funny what standards in a country. Could you imagine having a kitchen in the street in the USA? People would lose their shit.

What a day. So much more to wander.
