Living in the Moment: Hue, Vietnam

Iā€™ve been caught in a cycle of great travel for so long, I donā€™t really know if I was experiencing anything very well. Only the high-highs could make me feel so vibrantly. Iā€™ve been desiring those extremes because they would lift me up, but really, I needed to come down and feel the dirt again. Thatā€™s where you remember where you came from and where youā€™re going

Today was a day where I recognized just where I was. Wandering through very cool places gave me a thought that I was only taking pictures and not grasping the feeling. I went through the motions until about midday. I went and got a haircut and something came undone. I slowly started to feel every moment. By the end, I can happily say Iā€™ve arrived back to my body, to my mind. I put them together so I could experience in real time

Iā€™m here now, and the world is my dance floor, and baby, I wanna dance.

Coffee. Vietnamese is tasty, but you never get what you want. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

This lady was the same coffee for 1/3 of the price. Just dealing out of a bucket lol.

Oh yesssss! šŸ«°šŸ¼šŸ«°šŸ¼šŸ«°šŸ¼. I keep forgetting to use this, but itā€™s happening next time!

Anh was lovely and told me how to say hello to the girls šŸ˜Ž. She also told me how to tell off the hustlers, FOR WHICH THEY ARE RELENTLESS!

ā€œDi diā€ for haters

ā€œChao emā€ for lovers

Rather than fix this hanging wire, someone hung a bag onto it so you could notice it and go around. Simple fix. You should have seen me noticing it šŸ¤ŖšŸ˜…

This thing.

Feels like Jurassic park in here. Pretty much love it.

Scenery is awesome for photos. Just needing a model. Who wants to travel and pose?

Off to the citadel.

For such a giant complex, most of its grass. If there was more of this, I could get lost in here.

I love when people dress up. It doesnā€™t feel authentic, but you get a slight idea if you blur your eyes.

This floor šŸ‘ŒšŸ¼

Finding this caterpillar felt like good luck. I gave him a slight pet and wished him luck smiling as I left.

About that haircut. Went for a buzz and he offered a straight shave! I feel like butter!

It was 80k and I gave him 200k. I was going to tip and thought he gave me 30k because the 10 and 100 look the same. 120k tip, made his day šŸ˜.

Salty coffee. Very interesting!

Iā€™m never buying a white shirt again. Over it.

This car took the monk to Saigon where he got out of the car and poured gasoline then lit himself on fire.

This is his heart after the event.

One of these guys. Could you imagine?

So good I had another.

Look, I took out money AND took my card back šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

Big drive day tomorrow. The stoke is real.
