Grand Budapest
What a beautiful city. I didn’t understand it quite well. I got there and immediately had some bites swell up on my forearm the size of small tomatoes. I was weirded out to go sweat and walk around the first couple days. It made for an awkward start. Luckily, the city is quite easy to navigate, although, it is freaking huge.
After being in Europe for too long, many buildings started looking the same. This is by no fault of Budapest, well maybe the kings and queens back in the day trying to model Paris, but only because my travels were running so long. You realize just how much of Europe idolized the French architecture, and why not, it’s stunning. Us Americans crave the beauty of Europe for this reason.
I saw protests, graduations, and even weddings. That’s what you hope to see when I’m an old city, it just doing its thing and you’re a passenger on its ride.
These are all from my first day exploring.
Enjoy.
The coolest market building I’ve ever seen.
Absolutely stacked. The food was incredible looking, but was insane expensive. Idk about €30-40.
Definitely too broke to tip lol.
Paprika everywhere.
Inside, and out.
Right beside is the most stunning bridge. If you’ve been here, you could probably guess my walking path.
Yep.
Stunning. The inside is one of the best in Europe.
Not sure what they were protesting. Didn’t even take the time to look it up. Basically wanted to feel it and see how it felt.
Lovely.
So fucking ridiculous these vape pens, but I’ll appreciate this photo 😉
