The Two Towers: Tokyo, Japan

For one of the last times on this long road, I will be reporting live from around the world.

It’s been over a year now. I’ve cried, I’ve sweat, I’ve smiled uncontrollably, I’ve felt unbelievably big and unbelievably small over this trip and sometimes in the same day. I can’t believe it’s almost over. It doesn’t feel real. Life doesn’t feel real. It all feels like it was just a dream. Maybe that’s why they’re called dreams?

One of my last days here. I woke up late with no ambition. It was a little gloomy, but slowly I picked up energy. By noon I decided to wander around. Nothing special, no intense connection I’m trying to feel. I just popped in my AirPods, started a podcast, and started walking towards the tall towers.

It was a lovely day.

Started my day with a run. I love the speed of seeing a city this way. It’s not too fast, not too slow, and you discover all kinds of things.

I think this broomstick can fly.

Never seen this type of shrine before.

There she is.

I’m so broke, but maybe just one more…😝😝😝. Noooooo, I can’t.

Tokyo architecture is my favorite. It’s simple, but elegant. It’s got slight style. Nothing too fancy, but everything looks well built and functional.

This flower is growing on a weed between the sidewalk and the wall.

This was not too far away. Senso-ji, only bearable when not trying to see anything. Just like a rip tide, just go where it takes you.

These trees 😍😍😍

I haven’t eaten here, but this ramen stall looks like it was swallowed by the subway station. The whole thing looks ancient back there. It’s like he refused to move so they built the whole thing around him. Maybe for my last day..

Screw the broomstick. I’m taking the suicide door Mercedes!

Or the fire-engine red Ferrari!

うまい!!!

Somehow this represents running to catch the train.

LOOK! It’s a “Can-Bus” get it? Like cannabis..😅😅

Night vibes.

And some of my favorites from the last few days.
