Rush Hour: Last day in HCMC, Vietnam
Yesterday, I felt good. I was stoked on meeting with Bove and things were working. He enlightened me to the road before me and got me enthused. By the end of day though, I was having second thoughts on my possibility.
Fast forward to the new day, and I think the only way possible is to skip a section. So, I booked a flight to Da Nang to give me more time on the road to enjoy it rather than driving like a maniac. I got most the plan worked out, just some tweaking and then of course figuring it out as you go. With so little time, I think I’m going to have anxiety until I get on a bike.
All that means is I have only one day in HCMC to see the streets, find the culture, and take the photos. Buckle up if you can, at least wear a helmet 😝
This morning stroll hits as soon as I walk out the door.
Colors, energy, smells, noises, blurs and commotion of people moving every which way surround you constantly. A sea of life is swirling around. Oh look, a puppy.
No no no no. What? No.
Purty.
Why this guy has chickens in front of this jewelry store I’ll never know.
Suggested Bahn Minh. 6/10. Good and tasty, but nothing special, especially for price. Although size a great portion. Sorry, David 😘
This thing.
Sounds about my everything. Fitting. Signs?
Platt-German.
Came for coffees, went with smoothies. It’s 37 degrees out 🥵
This is for the bois. At some point smiling just gets boring so I’ve started doing things. Apparently, rubbing tummy was the first I thought of.
The most beautiful section of neighborhood I’ve seen in SEA.
Honestly, looks comfy.
This whole neighborhood looked shocked I was walking down there. I just smiled and walked, smiled and walked. I didn’t even take many photos because it felt intrusive. You’ll just have to ask me for more detail in person 😘
Cute, but now I’ve got a date with a bike, and it can’t be missed.
