Japan Addict: Osaka
Yesterday, I could barely get out of bed, today, I am like a speed junky and Japan is the drug I can’t get enough of.
It took me a while, a way to describe why Japan is so addicting to almost everyone I’ve ever met who came here. To me, it feels like that feel of Christmas. The day before you’re all wonder and imagination of what your boxes could behold. There are colorful lights and friendly smiles all over. You can feel the intensity as every little moment seems to add to the next. It’s something we don’t really experience anymore as adults, but Japan feeds that experience.
Running around to taste good food and see pretty lights while being encompassed by the clarity of place and language that is the Japanese culture is beyond palpable. Everything about the character of the place makes me feel good and smile relentlessly. I’m just so enticed by every facet, like a girl (or boy) endlessly in love with a childhood crush, it doesn’t matter what they say or do, I’m already sold. Something is genuine that I don’t have to describe it, but I guess I just spent three paragraphs doing just that.
Glad to be back, Japan.
Dotonburi, one of the few touristy places in the world that I think is actually really cool.
The boys. I love being greater by anime at the airport. Why not?
Glorious.
Not so glorious.
Hostel has enough past-time reading if you can’t find your own adventure.
If you haven’t had it, you’re missing out.
